Frederick's Cafe

Cheap food and cheap quality. The price matches the food. The Biscuits and gravy was not enjoyable I only ate one half and left the rest. The biscuits were like something you buy at the store in the tube, the gravy had no flavor just dough. It was probably a package mix you buy at the store again. The bacon was paper thin and not a good quality or mix of meat and fat, it was mostly all fat. The home fries needed more flavor and also the hash browns were sliced super thin. It felt like i was eating mashed potatoes. Probably won't be back.

We took a short walk from our new digs to try out Fredrick's for breakfast, and they did not disappoint! They have a cozy atmosphere and a friendly staff. In true small-town Cafe style, they offer simple comfort foods en mass. The orange juice was the freshest we've tasted in years. Fresh eggs cooked perfectly, and crispy bacon. The home fries are also fresh and cooked to order, and you get a lot of them. So delicious, we couldn't stop eating them! Highly recommend Fredrick's during your visit to Corydon!

I've waited years to make this post, because I want to support small business when possible; however, I can't endorse this restaurant. Hours are terrible. Service is usually bad. Breakfast is usually pretty good, but good luck trying to get in before they switch to lunch. We've eaten here quite a few times, always hoping for the best. I will not be back unless the wife makes me.
