Sweet Cakes

I hosted a 60th birthday party for my mother. I ordered a three layer cake with vanilla, Lemon, and white chocolate raspberry. The cake was amazing all of the guest really enjoyed all three flavors. The ordering was extremely easy and they emailed me back so fast which I loved they made hosting an event from a different state much easier. They decorated the cake just how I wanted but even better! The delivery was right one time. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience with Sweet Cakes. We emailed pictures and instructions of exactly what we wanted and went into the store to explain it as well. The cake I received did not follow any of the instructions and then within hours developed this bubble on top. I emailed the bakery to ask for a discount and was told no. $142 for an 8 inch cake that wasn’t decorated the way we asked and that had this awful bubble. Pretty unacceptable. Buyer beware.

Oh my goodness you made me and 12 kids so so happy. They have been collecting mac n cheese from friends and family for Community Unity 5000 to feed 5000 local people a Thanksgiving meal. To show them how proud we were of them I asked you to make mac n cheese cupcakes and you delivered BEYOND expectations!!!! Oh my goodness they were AWESOME!!!! Thank you so much. The kids collected 832 boxes which will give 3328 people a side of mac n cheese!!! Your cupcakes were the icing on the cake. ❤️🧁🧁

This is my all time favorite bakery! They have delicious and moist cupcakes and I love that they rotate some featured flavors too. I have had a few cakes decorated from sweet cakes, but my most recent one stood out the most. They went over the top to decorate my cake exactly how I asked and it was just as delicious as their cupcakes. My favorite flavors are the strawberry, almond, and cookies & cream but you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Will definitely be back again soon!

I had ordered a birthday cake online to be picked up. I received confirmation of the order and the time it would be ready. When I arrived, the employee searched everywhere, but could not find it. I showed the order and the confirmation to the employee numerous times. It was apparent they had forgotten to make the cake. The employee called his managers for assistance; however, one manager, Antonio, I believe, seemed to be giving the employee a hard time and did not seem to believe that I had actually ordered a cake. The employee was very nice and apologetic. From the one side of the conversation with the manager I was able to hear, it did not appear the manager believed any of it. Not only was it bad to not have the cake my wife wanted for her birthday, but now it was an hour from her party and there was no offer to make it right. The manager even said I wouldn't be able to get my money back for a few days. The employee promised a refund and they would "make it right" with something else in the future. The refund finally came, but that was the last I heard from them. Overall, a really disappointing experience. If you order online and receive a confirmation with date and time of pick up, I suggest calling to make sure they actually have it the day you order and the day you are going to pick it up.

Beyond disappointed in the service we recieved. We had a tasting around October (event was in April) I was told just to email around 2 weeks before wedding to confirm final count of cupcakes. When I did this they had no record of my tasting, my order or the design we talked about previously. I needed the wedding cake and mini cupcakes to be delivered to the venue. Called multiple times and emailed to make sure it was able to be delivered, paid a delivery fee and paid in full prior to the event date. Cake was supposed to be delivered at noon. At 2pm we called and we were told they didn't know about our order, and then it was that they had it but didn't know it was supposed to be delivered. It's been a week since my wedding and we did not get any type of apology refund for the delivery fee. They did get there in time as the ceremony was happening. When you check multiple times about delivery you shouldn't have to worry on the day of the event.

They confirmed my daughter's birthday cookie order via email, we agreed on design and price and individual packaging. I responded that it all sounded good (8 DAYS PRIOR to the order) and now 5 days after I sent the confirming email- they told me there would be a $50 ADDITIONAL fee for rushing... all because they didn't check their email over the weekend. It's a shame that someone would do business like this.
