Prime Steakhouse Bothell

This place is great. Short ribs are particularly amazing. We’ve been here several times in the last few months and have never been disappointed in the food or service. Drinks and wine selection [limited but quality] don’t disappoint. All the bartenders are friendly. One thing that sucks/poor planning is the bar chairs are about 2-3” too low for the bar and all the bar area tables. You feel like a kid at the adult’s table :-/

We are already big fans of the original Prime Steakhouse in Redmond. We came here one night when the Redmond location was not open because of a fan problem. This place has great steaks, a very good bar (the Eastside Manhattan is one of the best Manhattans I’ve had), a nice ambiance and the staff has always been friendly. This location has a bigger bar then the Redmond location. Parking can be challenging. If you are looking for a good steak in Redmond or Bothel without having to travel to Bellevue or Seattle checkout Prime. Great for an intimate date too.

We had an 8:30 reservation and arrived on time. The restaurant was busy, but not slammed. We were served room temp drinking water that didn't taste good. We didn't see our sever or have menus for 15 minutes and then it was another 10 minutes before we got our drinks. The blue cheese wedge salad came out warm with soupy dressing and no blue cheese chunks? Our baked potatoes had been put under the broiler and were burned on top? The sour cream that comes with the potato isn't sour cream, it's horseradish cream-- which we didn't realize until after we put it in our potatos. Ribeye steak was ordered medium well and came out rare. They were more than happy to try to cook to medium well. I sent the steak back cut in half it came back with less meat, in 3 peices and still rare. The server acknowledged the steak was still under and offered to have it redone. At this point, I was ready to be done. They did comp the steak which I appreciate. On a positive note, our steaks were peppercorn style and the demi glaze is delicious. The food and the experiance was really disappointing. We ate at Prime about 5 weeks ago with a group of friends and although service and food was very slow, the food was excellent and cooked perfectly. There is something definately not right back in the kitchen and you should never have to send your steak back two times to have it appropriately cooked in a pricey steakhouse like this. Not sure we'll be back.

I got ribeye and baked potato. Ribeye was cooked as ordered but under seasoned. Baked potato was very baked. Was fine for me but I suspect others would disagree. My wife had a hamburger which was quite good but came with very sad and anemic french fries. Happy hour price for the burger seemed very reasonable.

Tried this place for the first time last week and can't wait you go back! Everything on the menu looked good. I ordered the steak bites on the HH menu, they were delicious and came with a side of taro chips. My boyfriend got the prime rib sandwich, it was huge. Mostly because the bread was so substantial. The wine was delicious. Atmosphere was really nice. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
