Moon's Tavern

We've live near this establishment for many years, when it was still Molly's and then became Moon's Tavern. I've always wanted to go and last night we did. The patrons are friendly, staff courteous and helpful, and the ambiance just like you'd expect from a neighborhood "hole-in-the-wall". We didn't try the food but the beverages were tasty. We easily got a table near the band and were treated to a 20-year anniversary party with a couple that played classic rock tunes really well. Overall, it an inviting, fun place that hearkens back to bars of old that still had smoke in the air. Recommended if you're looking for that intimate, down-home vibe. There's lots of new flat screen TVs too if watching sports is your thing. The one pool table was busy the whole time we were there, but it was a special Friday night. ~ Kort

The only reason this place gets 2 stars instead of 0 is because of the previous bartenders I have dealt with. I have came here multiple times and each time it gets worse. If your not of the right skin tone u will be looked at and questioned the whole night. If you go solo Be ready to experience some extreme racial tension. If you don’t support trump don’t u dare come in here. This place is nice and the service and drinks are fantastic. The demographic this place place attracts is just unbelievable ur in west boca not Loxahatchee.

I celebrated my birthday last night in this excellent restaurant. happy to tell that it was a superb evening and the restaurant was absolutely the reason for the happy event. The team collaborated in a splendid manner, the meals were great and my buddies were very pleased. We shall absolutely visit again for more events. thanks very much.

Great bar. Coldest beers In town! Decent prices, and steady patrons (that says something). Outsiders are more than welcomed at any time. You will feel welcomed walking through the door. The bartenders remember you and will tend to your needs no matter what. Highly recommend this bar over local bars in the West Boca area

Haven't been here in awhile, but I was a regular here for years. The bartenders are very friendly (Nicole, Heather, Holly, Kari to name a few current and past ones) and the owner Bob is awesome and even throws you some on the house occasionally. Great place to watch football on Sundays and they even do pick 'em pools during the season that are pretty fun. I also love the random old school tunes people play on the jukebox. They have a pool table but I'm terrible at pool so never really played. The other regulars who go here are a bit older than me but they're pretty nice people. Overall, if you're looking for a quaint dive to get to know people this is the place to go. Also love the random sports memorabilia adorning the walls. My only qualm is not enough Dolphins fans go here! It's mostly Bears fans.
