Authentic Japanese barbeque experience in a small space with friendly staffs. They offer different cuts of beef, pork, and chicken, with great selection of sharable small dishes.
Make sure to make a reservation in advance, and do note that each reservation will only be 1.5 hours long.

Ishoni is a grill beef lover's paradise. This Japanese BBQ restaurant serve some spectacular cuts of beef that are seasoned well and you get to grill it over a charcoal fire. I don't know what else can beat that? Other than beef, they also have chicken, pork, seafood, and vegetables. You can try everything if it's your first time but I definitely recommend just going with an all beef meal because that's all you really need. Top recommendation is the beef tongue, beef short rib slices, the wagyu beef slices, and (the best) beef ribbed cubes, the fat and juices is to die for. Highly recommend this place.

The food quality is good! The meat is fresh and the food came out fast. The service is pretty friendly and the space is cozy.
You have to make reservation for this place or else is hard to get a seat since this place is a bit small. Reservation can only be made 2 days before the reservation.
The restaurant is clean and the bbq is done on coals fire pot. The meat has more flavor with the coal grill.
The meat quality is good and the price is reasonable since this is located in downtown Bellevue.

The best Japanese BBQ in bellevue. Beef, tongue, and lamb are so good. They have very high quality.

Great place for Japanese BBQ, quality food and reasonable price. Theie beef was fresh, tender and juicy with just salt and pepper for seasoning. The Wagu was smooth and good marbling but their short rib was the dish of the night that won all of us over. Definitely worthy of many more return visits

Best BBQ! They only serve 16 tables per day. (6 tables in store and 2 rounds per day) Better make reservations before going.

Tiny restaurant that sits 6 tables of 4-6. Hard to get reservations especially weekend. Only open for dinner. Food was great, especially the wagyu beef ($109 for 10oz).

Decent meat quality with fair price. Just make reservation, walk-in is impossible as there are only 6 tables and they need to prepare the charcoal. Will definitely return.
