Baby Jacks Bbq

Interesting experience. They have a cashier working virtually from home. Very odd and they did not disappear from the screen while we waited with no other customers in the building. Actual kid that took my cash and brought out the food was extremely friendly. Food was pretty good. Don't believe it was enough for "20 people" but I'd definitely go back for a regular entree meal of the brisket.

I was really disappointed in the service this time around. Baby Jack's is always a little longer wait than other restaurants. But it took an hour total to get our food. They also have this weird vertical screen at the front counter that completely confuses people. The screen has a webcam and a microphone, but there's no video on it. It's just a black screen, there's nothing on it. So you walk in and this disembodied voice asks you what you want. The only way your really know to step up and talk to this giant blank screen is that all the other customers milling around see your confusion and let you know to step up to the counter. The real kicker is that once you finish your order, some other employee has to stop what they're doing to take your payment. The whole setup seems really poorly thought out. And although most customers were mildly amused by the situation, I think the screen is universally hated. It doesn't seem like anyone has a specific station they work at and things seem very disorganized. The food is great, but the effort it takes to get it and the wait time is just too much.

Not the greatest of BBQ that I’ve ever had. The meat was a little on the dry side, so the sauce was needed to make it palatable. The baked potato salad was good. But stay away from the coleslaw. That had to be the worse coleslaw I’ve ever had. If you’re desperate for BBQ, go here. But if you want something better, then try somewhere else.

I work with three other girls painting murals down the street that you villages every Friday we order something from a local restaurant usually it’s baby jacks of all the times we have ordered from them not one time have they ever gotten everything that comes with out order correct in the fact that we’re always missing forks napkins we usually order extra barbecue sauce we rarely ever get any I don’t know if we’ve ever gotten butter for a baked potato half the time were missing cheese it’s just gotten ridiculous. I can certainly understand missing something on a very rare occasion but every single time this happens so we basically had barbecue with no barbecue sauce

Food was o.k.. I do not like ordering from a person via internet (screen) if I've taken the time to come to an establishment and eat there. Obvipusly the older patrons that come in and immediately leave do not like it either.. I know its difficult to hire good people right now but lets do better. The dining room was full of flies and not clean. Update: we had previously bought a fundraising certificate from a friend for their child's football team. My wife picked up the order and they shorted us a side and left out the 12 pack of buns.

I'm doordash driver and I can safely say this place is one of the most off-time food establishments in Bartlett. Orders are NEVER complete when I arrive, and I have to wait 15-20 beyond the time that the order is supposed to be completed every time I accept an order for delivery from this establishment. I also notice every time I come here me and many others are complaining about virtual greeter, who is also somehow responsible for taking orders as well as sending a messags to the front that a delivery driver has arrived. In summary, slow service, virtual greeter extremely unpopular decision by what I have observed from customers and for myself.
