Waffle House

~note~ If you like your food burnt to the point where you can't eat it be my guest and eat here. Me, my husband and friends went to go eat after work. We walked in and had to wait to be seated cause all the tables were dirty (we went at 2:30am) we literally waited a good solid 20 minutes before we got our drinks. Didn't even get them right away waited till we got our food. When we got our food it was burnt. Burnt to the point you couldn't even eat it. And after eating of what I could, I felt sick right after. WOULD NOT recommend.

I had the best experience today! First, had a fantastic meal and service from our server Kay. Then to make it even more special, had a very motivational and inspiring hand written message from Kay on the back of our ticket. She shared her reason for trying to bring joy to others and we couldn't thank her enough for her strength and determination despite the struggles she endures. Please visit when you can. And I pray that you get Kay. But they all are super nice. 🙏❤️

I've never had Waffle House's dinner/lunch options. Their breakfast is always done Exactly how I ordered it. The All-Star Special is the best bang for your buck. They can Make cherry or vanilla Pepsi/Coke (I suddenly have forgotten which pop brand they serve). Their coffee is Good--not too bitter. You get to see your food being made, if you sit at the bar. The menu is pretty simple, easy to read. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, seating is minimal - - either at the bar, or one of 3 booths (at this location; other locations may have restricted their seating differently). You pay at the register when you're done. You can get a drink to go on your way out the door, free of charge, if you ask for it and you ordered a drink with your meal. I've never ordered carry-out, so I can't speak to how that is.

My son and I ate at this wafflehouse on 6/28/22 after midnight. Tonya Thompson was our cook and Mary Howard was our server. We had an absolute blast! The food was amazing, but the quality of the staff was on another level. These two ladies made us feel like we were special guests at a fancy dinner party. We fell in love with these ladies, and the laughter and fun will be a treasured memory for years to come.

The service can definitely improve. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are sitting at the coffee bar, have patients and only want waffles, bc everything is just going to get delivered to your table one at a time on different plates.. Which can be frustrating when there is more than one person at the table with you. after that if you need anything you have to go to the counter and ask for it, refills, boxes, even the check. I normally only go here when everything else is closed. It seems like every waffle house ive been to has poor service. The people are nice, just not trained properly.

The waitress was by far one of the worst I've ever had! My elderly mother and I waited 10 minutes for her to clean a table (my mother couldn't get up on the bar stool-like chairs) there was only one occupied table in the restaurant the entire time we were there. Every table and the counter were dirty. After we ordered ahe disappeared. Then our food came....my eggs were still raw and clear so they had to be made again.....came back raw again. When it was time to pay our bill, some lady )who came in to chat with the waitress and was cleaning trash up off the floor)floor) asked the waitress right in front of us how much tip we left her and she held up one finger....as if to say $1. Well.....that was the ONLY thing she got right!
