Went for the restaurant week 5 course tasting menu last week after wanting to try this place for a while. Restaurant & restrooms were very clean. First course was a salad - fresh & tasty. Second course was absolutely phenomenal: stuffed quail over wild rice. The quail was cooked perfectly & the rice was exceptionally flavorful! Third course was bone marrow served with toasted baguettes. It was rich & delicious but came out a little too soon which was followed by a wait for the next course: red snapper over julienned veggies. The fish was quite good. The last course was bread pudding with a scoop of ice cream on top & was decadent & a great finish to the meal. Our server was okay - didn't provide any descriptions of the dishes, didn't refill the waters until one was empty & seemed to just do what was needed rather than try to add to our dining experience. We will definitely add this restaurant to our Abingdon favorites, but will hope for a different server on our next visit.

We went in looking for a light dinner. The menu indicated that salads only came with entrees. We asked if we could order just a soup and salad. They were very accommodating. I was a little worried about what I would be charged since the entrees were very pricey. The soup was tomato bisque and the salad was a romaine wedge with bacon, feta cheese, pecans... Everything was dreamy! SO good! Probably the best soup and salad I have ever had 😊yum. And the price was very reasonable. Thank you Morgan's for a very enjoyable dining experience.
