Checked out 128 Pecan online and the menu looked great so went in for a bite. Was quickly seated, waitress was friendly and prompt. Our order was taken and it wasn’t long before our meal had arrived. Deluxe cheese burger and a fried egg sandwich with fries. The food was well prepared and the portions were big. The food tasted great. The establishment was very clean and the staff were wearing masks. If I am ever in the area again I will definitely eat here again. Thanks for making our trip to Abington even better.

Stopped for dinner and drinks before seeing a show at Barter - the atmosphere in 128 Pecan was casual and welcoming and the food was amazing. The portions were large and my travel companion and I left full and satisfied.

Definitely an upscale feel and price wasn't too bad either. The food was very thoughtfully prepared. The smash burger was the best burger I've ever had. Reminded me of how Marshal talked about the best burger in New York in the show How I Met Your Mother: "Just a Burger? Just a burger. Robin, it’s so much more than "just a burger." I mean…that first bite—oh, what heaven that first bite is. The bun, like a sesame freckled breast of an angel, resting gently on the ketchup and mustard below, flavors mingling in a seductive pas de deux. And then…a pickle! The most playful little pickle! Then a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce and a…a patty of ground beef so exquisite, swirling in your mouth, breaking apart, and combining again in a fugue of sweets and savor so delightful. This is no mere sandwich of grilled meat and toasted bread, Robin. This is God, speaking to us in food." It was a transformative experience.

We went to see a play at the Barter Theatre today and stopped by this restaurant for lunch for the first time. Parking is quite tight but otherwise this restaurant was awesome. We will definitely return. I can highly recommend the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the fried fish sandwich, and the tomato bisque soup. They were all great! The owner was super-friendly, too.

Great food exceeded only by the excellent service!! Had the artichoke appetizer, fried green tomatoes, Caesar salad, and artichoke chicken. The highlights were the fantastic Caesar salad, and the artichoke chicken pasta! Our waiter was very friendly and attentive even though he was busy! The patio is a great option for me to feel safe.

This is a wonderful local restaurant with very friendly staff, great service and top notch food. We have eaten here many times and they don’t disappoint. They have a relatively simple menu, which is one page, but it’s all good. The burgers, crab cakes, fish entrees, and even simple things like the wings and Cole slaw are all prepared perfectly. This is definitely a go to spot when you’re in Abingdon. Fortunately for us, it’s just a few blocks away.

We walked in expecting and a wait and instead we got got put in a wait list with 5 parties in front of us. Regardless of this, we were still sat in under 15 minutes and even had drinks before our table. Our waiter was helpful and offered the special which was potatoes, peppers and other items, topped with shrimp and toast with eggs fried on top. It was GREAT!! We also got the fish tacos and they were good as well with the tartar sauce, but I didn’t care for the salsa so much. The Parmesan fries were heavy covered in cheese when less would have sufficed. Over all we had a good time and would return.
