Osaka

We have lived in the area for the last 7 years and we have been to Osaka once before. The last time that we ate here we got takeout and we felt at the time that our experience with the food was mediocre at best. Our visit here yesterday was absolutely amazing. I ordered a beef teriyaki bento box and to say the least I was not disappointed even a little bit. The food was amazing and fresh. My husband and I both ordered range of items off of the menu and I also ordered a couple of different sushi rolls since it is a treat that I only get to occasionally enjoy. The freshness of the fish was particularly delightful since many places that I have ordered Sushi from there is a fishy smell and flavor if the fish is more than a few days old. We happened to be sitting close enough to one of the hibachi grills to be entertained by the chef who was preparing a meal for a number of people. He was very entertaining and delightful to watch prepare food and interact with the customers. Our experience the second time at this establishment was nothing short how spectacular. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is very clean, and the food is exceptional. We will definitely be going back. I highly recommend giving them a try.

I would have loved to try their food however we walk inside and we're not even greeted or told anything. There were people waiting to be seated but there were lots of empty tables. After being ignored for ten minutes we walked out. How can a place that has such great reviews have such poor service, get it together people. I do not believe I will try going back, I will keep my business to more professional places.

Well what can I say other than disappointed. The food although good was extremely overpriced. The $6 plum wine came in a small champagne flute and the $11 out of control roll was a measly 5 pc roll. Being that wild ginger you can get six piece roll for half that price and or Twsted in Medina gives you their special rolls which are like 10-12 pieces for roughly $12 I have to say I would not come back here again. Given the other options.
