Don Alberto's Charcoal Chicken

Looking for charcoal chicken -hopefully Peruvian style- I found Don Alberto's. They offer variety of Central American food, so I wasn't expecting that the chicken were as delicious as the Peruvian charcoal chicken. It was not, it's a different kind of flavor, but still a good one. It was not as juicy as I'm used to. The french fries and the yuca were fine, although nothing especial. Prices are convenient, so I would go back, but not my first place to go for juicy charcoal chicken.

I really wanted to get this restaurant a 4 and a half star but since I can’t give it a 4 and half star Imma a just give it a 4 star...My experience with this restaurant was fairly OK...I have no complaints on the food or Portion size...staff is friendly and the food is made to order which i love the must...fresh cooked chicken, rice was just right in my opinion, beans was a little under cooked but still tasty...I ordered the 1/2 chicken rice and beans, chicken taco and chicken/cheese Pupusa which came out to about 13 bucks which is great!!!! The reason I give this restaurant a 4 and a half instead of a 5 star is because even though everything was great!!! i must admit, the Facility looks a little ran down...the first thought that came to my head was “this is going to be a bad experience” but I was wrong!!!! This restaurant is definitely the definition of “don’t judge a book by its cover” also (just being picky) the yellow sauce can be a little thicker but again thats just me being a little picky lol I will go back to try the steak and cheese also the Torta Mixicanaaaaaa :)
