Stopped by today with part of our family while in Waco at a track meet. AWESOME FOOD and AWESOME SERVICE! If you live in Waco, this family restaurant needs to be on your list of regular places! If you are passing through, it is worth getting off I-35 and driving the short way to their front door! The salsa (served warm) is outstanding, and the cheese enchiladas were right out of a Robert Earl Keen/Lyle Lovett song! My daughter, who typically eats like a bird, devoured her burrito! She offered me a taste... I declined... and I didn't get a second chance!
I'll be back in Waco next month... and you'll find me at Molly's for another round!

This is my “go to” place for authentic Mexican food! Cannot say enough good things about them. The salsa that is served with the chips is served warm, just like I love it. The Guacamole salad is the perfect combination with it. The “Chillin Bear”is my normal meal, but the Chicken Fajita Taco was huge and wonderful. My only suggestion is to get here early!

I love dining at small local places. And you know a place is good when it is packed with locals. Such is the case with Molly's Mexican Restaurant. The breakfast and breakfast burritos were fantastic. On my "stop" list now.

I will not be going back I ordered bacon egg and cheese burrito to go stuffed full of eggs and a half a piece of bacon very disappointed. Didn't know there was a shortage of bacon .

As a native local growing up around here I used to love coming here on Saturdays having I nice breakfast or burrito .. now , today it's more like nursing home food , bland , commercial flavorless Mexican food , very disappointed considering the legacy this place has for me 😪👎

Arrival time: 10:35 am on a Saturday. Salsa was warm and Delicious, attentive and friendly wait staff even with a full restaurant, good coffee, seat yourself when you arrive, one restroom, and lastly, simple decor but no biggy as the food is good. I would return if I pass through Waco again.
