Checkers

I was disappointed this time. I ordered 2 crispy fish, a large fry and a strawberry milkshake (they were out of first choice of cherry coke). The shake was only good part of meal. I paid extra to have cheese and tomato added to both sandwiches. Both pieces of fish were extremely hard around edges. They had been over cooked and/or left in warming tray too long. I could not eat either sandwich. The French fries were older and most of order was bits and pieces.

It's a good place to eat. There specials are good. My only issue was they have a special that's either 2 burgers, 2 chicken sandwiches or 1 of each with a small drink and fries for $4.50. Order the chicken sandwiche meal for my son which is $9 something and they give me the same chicken sandwich . I'm like I think you got it wrong and the cashier said no it's the same sandwich. I'm like you could have told me that before I ordered. Why would I pay twice the price for half the food...

Food was fresh hot and juicy. Had the number 2 which is a baconzilla which you can get as a double or triple. I got the double and was very satisfied. Fries were fresh and hot as well. My mom had the deep sea double meal and the fish was nice and hot. My friend had the 2 for 6 stuffed cheese burger and was definitely pleased. After we ate we went back for the apple pies which I think they are the best treat that checkers offers. Will definitely be back.

I always love them checkers seasoned fries. And i cant remember an instance where they got my order wrong. I give 4 stars only because last i walked inside to order i noticed a few things damaged like base molding and stuff. Not that it affects the service but one would think that any cosmetic damage inside or out of the establishment would be promptly fixed.

A little pricey for fast food but the best apple pie in the world!!! They deep fry it and then toss it in cinnamon sugar. Everything comes out boiling hot. I think they make everything as it's ordered as opposed to having it sitting around. The staff is pretty friendly and they've never gotten my order wrong. The only thing I'd not recommend getting is the BLT. Cheap and totally comes off like that.... Hamburger bun, two slices of bacon, one piece of lettuce and tomato and waaaaaay too much mayo. Came of squished and wilty. But the fries and the apple pie are everything and their milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard.
