Buz & Ned's Real Barbecue Boulevard

Real BBQ is an understatement! Been a customer for over 10 years. BBQ enthusiasts, this is where you must come for ribs, brisket, burnt ends, you name it. They take pride and put love in the food. You will need to take a long walk or nap when done. Enough said! Today it was beef ribs 1/2 rack w/ bbq beans, cuke and onion salad. Update- came back several months later. Got spare ribs, bourbon apples, fried okra. Excellent!

The original leased Buzz & Ned's was tiny, and always crowded. It has been torn down, to be replaced with a big condo complex. The new Buzz & Ned's on Broad Street retains the super-delicious BBQ, and has the added bonus of spacious seating. There are other BBQ establishments in and around Richmond, but NONE can come close to equaling the fabulous flavor of Buzz & Ned's BBQ sauce ... smokey and just a little sweet. Best RIBS I've ever had ... ANYWHERE!

Great food, good music and not too loud. Our waitress, Victoria, took perfect care of the 4 of us. We came in for a late lunch. The catfish was delicious. Great Mac ,& Cheese. The chicken skewers were moist and tender, with the perfect amount of sauce. Not too much and not too little. We are definitely going back.

This is THE place. Look take it from a fat guy who travels the USA with a focus on Man Vs Food restaurants. It was sad to hear that the Buz and Neds place by the Redskins training field was permanently closed. This was a new location for me and my boys. Parking is a bit complex so dont enter the one way like i did.We sat down and our server quickly arrived. I knew what I wanted, besides looking forward to the Virginia Tech football game. The boys ordered their brisket sandwich and brisket with 2 sides. My big belly quickly ordered half a rack of beef and pork ribs. The restrooms are located opposite the bar and were kept clean. The food arrived, I apologize the ambrosia arrived and as I remembered you don't need sauce. The smoke and rub is all you needed. As usual the pork ribs beat out those luscious beef ribs. Look, it's pricy $100 with tip but the food was stellar and our server was positive and friendly. Take it from this fat guy, these are the best pork ribs in the USA

Stop by on the way to DC. Had a pleasant experience. The food was good and the waitress was friendly. We enjoyed the beef ribs and brisket. Corn bread was very very good. We had some coleslaw and c&onion salad on the side. C&onion salad is a bit too much vinegar, but slaw was good. I think the price was not so bad either. Overall, I would recommend this place to others.

For a party of 8, we got the extra heavy ribs full, the jumbo ribs full which came with 2 sides each. Got the 3 orders of 6 wings which was ok, and 2 extra sides, and 2 lbs of briskets. Hush puppies were great! Fresh fries are yummy. Don’t get the jumbo beef ribs because it is all bone. There is not much meat on there, and it is kinda dry. They have a small souvenir store that look like a garage sale.
