Tasty Tails

The food was disappointing. This place was super crowded - almost nightclub vibes. Loud music,, TV, and a bar. No real social distancing from what I saw but to each its own. The food was horrible, Overpriced, overrated and portion sizes were a total ripoff. Never again!!! I ordered the crab fries with extra crab and this is what I got. Insane and utterly disappointed.

We parked out front of Tasty Tails and my husband went inside to place our order. Boy, was the place hopping!!! Our order was delivered to our car and off we went down 75 to our home. Once we opened our order at home we discovered that our order was incomplete; hence, the lost star. Tasty Tails: We didn’t get our drinks, so we had to settle for water when we got home. We live ten miles or more away, so turning around to go back to get them would have made our dinner even colder. By the way, you need to update your phone number. I tried to call without success.

I have been wanting to try Tasty Tails for awhile now and I don't know why it took me so long! Their crab fries were calling for me and so were their po boys. Their crab fries are made with real crab meat not imitation and their po boys are overstuffed. They certainly don't skimp on taste or quality. Our servers were attentive and it was a nice casual vibe. It was earlier in the afternoon when I went so when 5 o'clock hit they started getting busy. I feel that their happy hour is an amazing deal, probably the best I've seen so far. I will definitely be back!

Today, I ordered the turkey necks, corn and sausage. The turkey necks were not very tender. The meat should fall off the bone. The seasoning was the right amount of spicy, but had an off putting sweetness to it, which threw the taste of the necks off. But it was really great with the corn and sausage. I'm on the fence with this one. I'll have to go back and give them a second chance. This was my first time, maybe I ordered the wrong flavor. We shall see. The menu is great, the place is clean and the service was good.
