Center Diner

Very good food along with very good prices along with very good service. This place is the definition of bang for your buck. The service was very good and very personable. This is the reason why I like family-owned places such as diners and restaurants that are indigenous to the neighborhood and not places you see all over like chains.

Food is served in large servings, very classic diner portions. The food is fresh and wait staff knew the menu better than the menu itself. I would recommend this place to everyone and I'll be going here everytime I'm in Peekskill. I stopped here with 4 other people before a hike at blue mountain and we all paid about $10 for a feast. Great place, great food, little seating.

A good place with great prices. Cash only and personal attentive service. I had the chicken orzo soup which was really, really good and the Italian sausage & peppers sandwich special which wasn't bad either. A great place. Edit: have been here a couple times now. The open-face turkey sandwich was awesome.

Great food! Typical diner prices but well worth it. Very cozy. Old fashioned car diner feel. Convenient parking on same and side streets. Friendly staff! Definitely recommended. Plus if you go around lunchtime on weekends you will have the opportunity to find something cool at the Farmer's Market (Saturday, before 2pm) and Street Market (Sunday, before 4pm). Great place for a nice pleasant family meal, with friends or significant other! Enjoy. :)

This place is PERFECT for what it is! I had a delicious breakfast for a fair price! The waitresses were Really nice and the cook smiled a lot. Super cozy, I went later in the afternoon (maybe 12:30pm?) so there wasn't a huge breakfast rush, but I could imagine that it would get packed and be hard to find a table at peak hours. The only thing is that it's cash only, and they don't have a sign up saying that so they should get a sign, or take credit cards, that would be cool so that you can just go eat and you don't have to plan a whole excursion to get cash and what not. Anyways I loved it, can't wait to go back!
