I Yit Ho Restaurant

Have nothing but good things to say about this place! I have been craving chicken chow mein for literally the last 6 months and was so happy that this was a spot I finally got it ... I also ordered the chicken broccoli and let him know it was for the next day. He told me he would make it with less sauce so that it didn't get soggy for when I was eating it! It was also cool to know that this place has been in business for 29 years! This is a classic hole in the wall, amazing food joint! Huge portions for a great price. The chicken is all breast meat and the meals were not oversalted. I don't eat a lot of Chinese food mostly because it is Americanized, salty, oily food but I 100% will be back here!

Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. Food was fresh, he packs your plate, and even when I get home (20min drive) the food is still piping hot. After eating this, you don’t get that heavy feeling you get after eating Chinese. Not sure if he’s the manager but the guy in there is super nice, he even called me back once asking if I was close because he didn’t want my food to get cold. Treats his customers like family and it’s a nice change

This place is a small takeout Chinese restaurant in West Peabody that is actually very good! Reasonably priced and fresh food. I would just suggest if you are taking out on New Year’s Eve that you expect to wait at least an hour after your pick up time but that’s probably the case at most places. That being said, the food was actually great in spite of the amount of orders they had to produce in such a short period of time. Also, there was never a time when I encountered a rude person in fact every one there is super friendly and helpful. Worth the wait!!
