Casa Ole'

I haven't eaten at a Casa Ole in quite a while...mostly because there aren't as many of them around. However, everything I ate today definitely was more salty than before. And that's my main complaint. The saltines was overbearing everything else. The service and plating is still good and the atmosphere is as well. It's a shame that food in so many restaurants has to change from the taste that made people loyal to them in the first place.

I forgot to take a picture of our nachos, we just dug right in. I know it's not REAL Mexican food, but it's REALLY good tex-mex. The queso is the shining star of this place and the sopapillas! It's a very casual restaurant with very nice wait staff. I will continue to go here even though people make fun of me for it.

I live close and have eaten there and ordered out many times! The food is outstanding, and that is very "Bold" to mention since there is a Jimmy Changas a block away! The service was disappointing time after time! Sometimes I get overcharged, and 4 days ago I didn't receive my whole To Go order! I keep going back since the food is great, but they sure can improve their Operations!

I grew up on Casa Ole, and when I switched to a plant-based diet several years ago, I was not sure if I could eat there again. I've always lived their red sauce and never gave I found one close to it that I enjoy as much. Recently my Sis took me there and I was impressed with our server Pearce, who knew what foods would be appropriate for me to eat. I had the tortilla soup and a large guacamole with corn tortillas. This was both delicious and filling. With the advancements in food technology, Casa Ole could tap into the plant-based/Vegan market by using non-dairy ingredients, more veggies, and even mock meats to recreate their dishes. Regardless of whether they go in this direction in the future, I can rest easy knowing Casa Ole has a delicious offering for myself and my family.

They shut down the location by my house about a year ago so I was really excited I found out about this location. The food was amazing, just like I remembered. However, everyone who works there acts like they hate their lives. The hosts gave us attitude when we walked in and interrupted their conversation by asking for a table (god forbid right?). Server was pretty nice just had a dry tone to her. Then we went to check out and again, was given attitude by the lady at the counter bc we interrupted her conversation as well. Staff is just miserable but food was amazing.
