Always a good experience. Decent food and drinks that are competitively priced. I prefer it over many of the other Mexican chain restaurants.

Everything was good. The young man was very nice and attentive. I was very touched when the staff talked to an elderly woman who was in the wrong restaurant. They even talked to her contact on her phone to help her.

We attended a birthday party and they served beef and chicken fajitas with rice and beans. Food was prepared perfectly and the tortillas so good!!! Wish there was one on my side of town (290 West in Cypress)

Classic Tex Mex to the core. We love their chips and salsa, beef fajitas, margaritas, and rice/beans. Their success over the past 20+ years has always hinged on fresh ingredients and top-level service.

Great food and great staff. I brought my family in and was promptly met at the door by Ramona she spoke to my children and made the visit such a wonderful experience. You very rarely see the manager come out and interact with the customers but this was one place my family and I felt right at home. Thanks Johnny Tamales and Ramona We will definitely be back and refer our friends and family as well.

They were so busy when we went there then it took a little extra time to get our food but I still think they did a good job and we were satisfied with our dinner. They have a lot on their menu and I would stop by there again.

Living in Clear Lake I forget about places up in Pasadena sometimes but I used to love to come to this Johnny tamales because they would make a burrito exactly the way I liked it which was more in the Mexican style and not tex Mex, and while they don't have burritos on their menu anymore they do have some healthier choices and I was very impressed! The food was very flavorful. And it was easily enough for two meals . I have now been twice in the last 2 weeks and gotten the veggie Bowl which is absolutely delicious. They also have the best sopapillas I have ever had anywhere! Service was awesome and extremely helpful both times even with helping me select based on my food allergies. Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back

Food is always GREAT -- fresh ingredients, promptly served, nice and hot. Service is fast and friendly. It's a bit loud, but that's because it's such a popular restaurant.

Great atmosphere and awesome JT margarita is on sale for $5.25 on Tuesday! I'm a big dude, and two of those let me have an amazing experience every time! There's a reason everyone is limited to four!
