Amazing food just off the main street. The eating area is nicely spaced so you don't feel squished in.
The specials board burger I had was one of the best I've ever eaten. Very fresh, delicious and filling. Most of the menu is available in gluten free, including the pancakes (pictured) which my wife said were amazing and fluffy. The coffee was great.
My new favourite Cafe in Orange.

I feel it is false advertising on TV...I see salads, prawns and beautiful meals....so on Saturday 21 November I went to this eatery and was very disappointed. Not only was the menu not what is shown on TV it was very limited. So I ordered a toasted thing and an iced chocolate.....I had to ask the girl if I could have a spoon to eat the icteam in my iced chocolate...I was given a small plastic spoon....a young boy, I would say child, brought my toasted sandwich....on the ate was some rocket with a little dressing....I picked this up with my fingers to eat it....I asked the girl if I am supposed to eat with my fingers....she quickly brought me some cutlery....I was just about finished when she appeared with a plastic looking cup with some water ....I WILL NEVER GO TO MET S AGAIN....BAD SERVICE AND MENU VERY DISAPPOINTING....

Well after having seen the ads for Merv's decided to go for a drive from Lithgow to Orange to try it out. Both hubby and I had the fish, it was lovely the batter was perfect. Staff very friendly and cheerful, would not hesitate to recommend this eatery.

Great food and excellent coffee - a hidden gem and way above standard cafes in orange charging the same prices. Food is always so fresh and tasty - and now open Saturday and Sunday - you won’t be disappointed- friendly service rounds out a great visit- leave room for one of their locally made desserts- yummo

Such a nice place in orange, good coffee , traditional breakfast options, good ingredients👍come every week for sure. But sometimes run out soy milk . Nevermind

We love Merv's, and we often stop there for one of their lovely coffees and delicious cakes. Friendly, quick and competent service is also a hallmark of this little café.
