Lovely helpful staff with great sense of humour, lovely quirky surroundings, good atmosphere, liked the funk, mowtown music choice...different craft beers and ciders to try, good a for a quiet natter during the week evenings..could imagine it being a good buzz when busy...more appealing to trendy types...clean and welcoming...😊...great for a first time vistor to Middlesbrough..

Definitely my favourite wee ale pub in Middlesbrough and well worth a visit if you haven't been!

Hilariously tiny pub. Great if you can catch it early in the night before it gets packed. Once it starts to fill up (which means about 10-15 people) it can become fairly uncomfortable as you're either blocking the front door, the stairs to the toilet, the bar etc. And if a couple has an argument the whole place feels awkward.
