Whataburger

Great customer service and the food is exactly what you'd expect. However, the drive through isn't always operated efficiently. It seems that they sometimes just want to click a computer button that says they're done with the order to let corporate know their wait times are in spec even though your actual wait time is another 3 to 5 minutes and that actually increases real world wait times.

It took 30 minutes to bring us our curbside order that was ordered online. We had to call inside 2 times and the first person didn't come out to give an update. That is why we called back after another 10 minutes. This person sounded like they did not care and made excuses. When we finally got the order, it was incorrect. My husband ordered one meat and bacon and got 2 meats and bacon. I ordered a single patty patty melt and got a double meat patty melt. They forgot the drink order when the order was brought out. We gave our dogs the extra meats. It was not a good experience.

I got the drive thru at 0305 am this morning. I ordered a bacon, cheese, egg taquito , ah order of hash browns and a large strawberry shake. Think about the amount of food that is in that order... A slice of bacon, a slice of cheese (?), One egg, one tortilla, an order of whataburger hash browns contains roughly 1/4 of a potato, and a32 oz shake.. my total cost? $10.92 tell me again how raising the minimum wage to 15 bucks an hour won't impact what I pay at the drive thru... I know, I know, whataburger has been and always will be expensive compared to McDonald's and burger King and I don't mind paying a premium for food made when I order it but close to $11 for a tiny snack of food weighing 0.3 pounds with the picante sauce removed is nothing short of ridiculous. That was my last middle of the night fast food run for a while. Thanks democrats. The girl who takes my money is the same one who took my order and she was cute, pleasant, and looked 14. Does your mom know where you are, little girl? Three vehicles in front of me , the time from placing my order to having food in my car was roughly 7 minutes. Not bad. Paid my $11 , she hands me my shake then my tiny weightless sack of food and I make the 4 minute drive home. A little disenfranchised over the amount of money I paid for roughly 1 dollar worth of actual groceries and the two minutes spent assembling (incorrectly, I might add) my taquito and the minute spent liquefying my shake, I was curious about the actual mass of my breakfast was. Onto the kitchen scale for a quick weight check then to add my salsa to my bacon whaaaa? SAUSAGE??? What happened here? I guess I must undervalue a well made to order taquito although, I wouldn't know because it matters not what I order or what time I come, I never once have gotten what I ordered as I ordered it. Oh well, 3 stars, but only because the little girl working the window was cute as a button and pleasant.
