Long John Silver's

I have not been a LJS's in decades so tonight I chose to have dinner at this location. Ordered the chicken and fish platter with fries, coleslaw and hush puppies. Not sure what the black specks on my fries was, but I swear it was pepper. Breaded items could have been cooked for a little longer, some doughy areas on both fish and chicken. I should have probably ordered a smaller portion as half of it came home (mostly chicken and coleslaw). Knew it would be greasy and it was, it is what it is. Chicken and fish were both very hot but the fries were just warm as we're the hush puppies. Beware of you stop here at night, lighting in the parking lot desires some up grade in my opinion and you have to walk across the drive thru where ever you park to enter.

My husband just went through Long John Silvers N West Ave., Jackson, Michigan about 30 minutes ago picking up three orders of your six for six chicken planks. He gets home and we have three orders with three pieces of chicken however paid for the six for six. We have called the storefront four or five times and cannot get anyone to answer the phone. Very disappointing I will not be able to get him to go there again for me. Gee thanks very much!! We would go back to the store right now but it would cost us more in gas then we’re willing to pay. The one positive is the girl that waited on him at the counter my husband says was delightful.

Totally blowm away and caught off guard. This was amazing! Never been to a LJS before but someone told me last week how great this particular location is so I thought I'd give it a go, and I am so glad I did! Jackson was as busy as could be and all the restaurants looked packed and as I pulled up to long John's it was totally empty and I had no wait to order. Service was friendly and smiling and made sure we had everything from condiments to napkins and straws (barely get that kind of fast food service anywhere anymore!) and the food was ready in a snap. I couldn't believe how good everything was. FRESH is the word that comes to mind. Never thought I'd feel I need to review a fast food joint on the Google but y'all gotta give this place a shot, it was so much better than any other fish I've had lately. I'm gonna try to pull up at the LJS more often. Try the clam strips!
