Five Guys Hurst

Five Guys on Pipeline Road in Hurst, TX is an excellent burger joint to grab a humungous burger and exquisite fries. Looking at the menu one can order a burger, cheeseburger, bacon burger or bacon cheeseburger, with all of these burgers having two patties that weigh out to 3.3 ounces. If you fancy a smaller burger or would like to order a burger for your children then these burgers can be ordered as a little size too, which comes with one patty. To top your burger you can choose from mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, green peppers, grilled onions, hot sauce, ketchup, mustard, onions, relish, grilled mushrooms, A.1. steak sauce, bar-b-que sauce or jalapeno peppers. If a burger is not what you fancy then you can choose from a kosher style hot dog, cheese dog, bacon dog, bacon cheese dog, veggie sandwich (even one with cheese), grilled cheese or blt. For fries you can choose from five guys style or cajun style in little, regular or large sizes. All fries come with a little extra in the bag where they "top it off." Lastly, one can eat some complimentary roasted peanuts and wash everything down with a soda or milkshake. This location was great for food and service but the restrooms could do with a nice clean. All-in-all, we will definitely be visiting a Five Guys in the future.

I don't like hamburgers much anymore, I'm so over them. Therefore, when I have one I'm pretty choosey. Most burgers these days have no meat because the beef is squished flat, plus the buns are too soggy. Not here! The Five Guys cheeseburger with my choice of toppings was the best tasting cheeseburger I have had in years!!! Plenty of perfectly seasoned meat, cooked to perfection, and no soggy bun! Delicious!!! I will be back!

Update: we are both feeling ill from the burgers. WAY too much grease. First time ordering. We were given a $25 giftcard and it wasn't enough to cover a meal for my husband and I. Now we could have shared fries, they really go overboard on the fries- so split those. The Cajun fries are really good. The right amount of spice, but not too much. I would go back just for the fries. The burger however is a fast food burger. Greasy. The cheese taste like plastic cheese. Definitely not worth $10 for a burger alone. There are better places, but try the fries.

First Time Experience was Disappointing for the Steep price. Counter Service was polite and Cook was Fast. However Speed in this case did not translate into a Quality Meal. Burger is mediocre: Soggy buns, and bland at best. Grilled Mushrooms seemed canned. Cajun Fries were soggy even directly from the Kitchen. Meal was not a Togo Order, but they had no trays. So, the Greasy Paper Bag was made into a Placemat. Returning here to consume food is questionable. 3/5 Stars.

Cheeseburger was delicious but prices aren’t really good like other burgers joints I go to! They did give a good amount of fries for the little size so that’s what I like but I think it’s a little more expensive just for the burger by itself and then the fries are separate. The tomatoes doesn’t look fresh honestly but the grilled onions made it taste good!!
