Ihop

We were there for brunch, usually it goes pretty smoothly buy for some reason this time took a lot longer to get our food. We waited 45 min for our food, and then the waitress forgot to put in my husband's order in and my friends as well so they had to wait another 15 min for their food. I could have understood if it was busy, but it wasn't so it didn't make sense why it took so long.

Ordered steak and eggs omelet with side pancakes. Pancakes were very good as usual. Eggs not so much? They were greasy and steak was way overcooked. Steak was very close to being uneatable? Steak was dry tough and gristly. Ordered it with sour cream and salsa. Sour cream was ok but Salsa was uneatable! It was way too spicy for my taste and tasted very bitter. Also had coffee and it was very good.

I always have good experiences at IHOPs and this location was no exception. I got the breakfast sampler which includes two eggs, two petite pieces of ham, two sausage links, two slices of bacon, two pancakes, and hashbrowns, and my buddy Mike got a cheeseburger/fries combo (only 5 bucks, are you kiddin' me!) The next time I visit an IHOP I hope I remember how good the sausage links are so I'll get them again. Everything was perfect down to the hashbrowns which I had specially ordered to be extra golden. A highlight of the experience was the cute waitress Haley who was prompt and made sure everything was right for us and then checked repeatedly to see if we needed anything more. Mike raved about his burger and fries so much that that's what I'm getting next time.
