Bob Evans

First time stopping by. First impressions staff is ok not sure if they were tired or what but definitely lacking energy. As for the food I ordered the Steakhouse burger. Looks better than it tastes... The bacon was burnt and couldn't really taste the bacon over the burnt... the burger was slightly overcooked but not super bad. The burger was bland not sure it was seasoned at all. The entire thing was soggy from all the grease. Made for a very Meh burger over all. Fries were good and fresh though. Overall not bad but not good either.

Well let me say the journey started off well. Then went south from there. The food was bland . The fish cod tasted like something from McDonald's. No flavor the fries were cold. So it sat under the warmer for a while. The waitress does not like to remove plates when she walks by. Never ask is everything alright and leave empty handed. Remove plates it makes for a better tip. If asked for a refill do go do that 10 min she came back with the check and no drink she was lucky to get a tip at all. . I explained the reasons why my tip was so low to another waitress. So when she gripped she will know.

Worst experience I've ever had at a Bob Evans ever! Waited over twice the amount of time given from hostess for seating. Once finally seat it took over an hour for our food which definitely wasn't worth the wait. The experience was so bad, it wasn't even worth talking to management about the experience, we just added the place to one we would never visit again, at least until it changes hands to new ownership. If you own this establishment please do everyone around and close it, you have no clue how to run a restaurant! If you disagree, you definitely aren't dinning in you own establishment or reading countless reviews here on Google about your loss than lackluster services provided.

Didn't get to actually eat here. We had stood at the front for 10 minutes before even being acknowledged then waited another 5 to 10 while listening to the servers bicker about having a group of 6 (who would have tipped very well btw). Then as we left they made a comment along the lines of "well now they leave". We were traveling through on our way home from Ocean City, Maryland to Springfield, Missouri and wanted a nice sit down dinner as we had been in the vehicle for 8+ hours. If I could give this resturant a negative review I would. I understand staff shortages very well as I have worked food service as well as my oldest son over the past 6 months so I know staff shortages but that was uncalled for.
