Harvey's

Food was good. Had ordered fish sandwich combo. I have lived in a totally different culture till now and I am trying to cope up with the culture here. Rarely have had sandwiches. When asked - what toppings can I have in a fish sandwich. I couldn't get an asked. Was kept on asked the same question- would you like to order anything else - in response to my question. Very polite communication. Just a misunderstanding or unexpected response from a customer.

I won’t be visiting the Harvey’s on Upper James anymore. Usually its a fine experience but there have been a couple of staff related issues. Most recently while going through the DT I had asked at the speaker for a fork, salt and pepper to be included in my bag. The woman who presented my order was not friendly at all. After quickly closing the window in my face I had to sit there and wait to ask for the fork and condiments a second time.

When you take someones order attitude to your customer I really don't think is appropriate, specially when it's over me not showing my coupon first (not knowing) and giving me attitude about it. Basically for my first time there, never again if I'm going to get attitude after I had a long day at work. Hire respectful and understanding people not people who start on customers over a coupon being shown at wrong time disrespectfully.

Turned the drive thru lights off over an hour before closing. Couldn't read the menu signs because they weren't backlit. Employee taking the order was very rude and made us feel bad for coming through. He kept talking over and interrupting. Ordered 4 combos- was simple, clearly said, and we were very polite. Got to the pickup window and the employee who kept interrupting and giving attitude for no reason didn't even end up getting the order right. Had to wait in the lineup for a long time and hold up all the other patrons just because he wouldn't listen in the first place and was giving us a hard time. Accidentally gave us onion rings which we never ordered in the first place. Well..good thing they weren't actually something we ordered because there were SIX tiny rings in there. That was the snack for the drive home. When you order fries you get a bunch...if you order onion rings you get 6 tiny microscopic pieces of fried onion.

Whenever you feel let down by an overpriced meal at a recipe.ca restaurant (they have been lowering their food costs and quality for years...ever wonder why you never get a well done patty at a Kelsey's? That's because it turns to inedible hard rubber, they must serve it pink so it seems tender). Always remember you can get higher quality patties, that are actually flame broiled at a Harvey's. Your mouth will thank you and so will your wallet! This Harvey's has a great team. I always feel respected and taken care of properly here! Dear Harvey's you are my goto after my weekly spinal injections...best NA comfort food around! Thank you for always brightening my day!
