B & W Bakery

Saw an article online that talked about the crumb cake, went there ordered one and maybe it used to be good but definitely not anymore, super dry and crusty. Definitely not a buttery tasty crumb cake that I expect and get from my local bakery. Definitely not going back. Oh and make sure you get your change when you get your receipt ,guy behind the counter tried a little shady move and suspect not the first time.

Super dry and stale.....Same as others experience. My wife's family has been going their forever.....when i joined the family> i joined the club....It "was" the best ever.....moist and flavorful full of thick crumbs. The place was sold and has never been the same> hard/stale and lost its flavor..... and.....the only place i know that still requires masks as of 3/19/22

Bakery has changed. Still good crumb cake, but not the same. Only other negative is that they don't take credit card or debit. It's really inconvenient when you are on the road. Was out and about and went on spur of the moment. I had to drive around for 10 min looking for an atm. One occasion drove home instead because I couldn't find an atmosphere nearby.

I love this bakery and even worked here when Terry and Nicole were the owners and before it was taken over by new management. I walked in there today for of course some of their phenomenal goodies. As I was leaving, the owner had shouted at one of the employees in front of the store to hear and see. THIS is why I left working at the bakery. TERRIBLE owner who will Yell STOP DO THIS to a staff member who clearly was working on a customer. The shop had at least 4 people waiting on line and three were being helped at the time. I love this bakery and their goods but I STRONGLY DO NOT LIKE the owner. It’s so sad that even after over a decade, he hasn’t even changed. This is why there’s so much turnover in companies today and I am so sadden for the staff member.

Some people say their crumb cake used to be better. I have no clue about how it used to be, but it's by far and away the best I've ever had. The cakey bottom perfectly combines with the topping. In most crumb cakes there is one superior and one lacking layer, but both the topping and cake in B&W's were out of this world. $9-10 for one large slice good enough for at least 3.
