Cracker Barrel

The restaurant is always busy around noon and it is always nice to see a lot of people, even though the wait time can be very long. Luckily, they have a very unique store to browse through while waiting. The food is always comforting and filling. I got the maple glazed chicken with bacon, fries, and mac & cheese. It is my favorite item on the menu because the maple flavor encompasses the flavors making the chicken very savory. I did ask for ranch and it took 10 minutes to come out, but i understand it is a one-time thing. It is the perfect restaurant to go to with your family.

We had excellent service from Anne. She refilled our coffee cups before we even knew we wanted more coffee. She took our order without even writing it down. I watched her have half a dozen conversations on her way to the kitchen area and the order still came out PERFECT. I thought for sure she would forget at least one thing after everyone in the restaurant seemed to need something from her. Nope. The blueberry pancakes were about the best I've ever had with just slightly crispy edges and perfectly buttery centers. My husband loved his biscuits and gravy. The entire experience was perfect at this cute little country restaurant. They have some adorable gifts in the gift shop if the country vibe is your thing. I'm not going to lie, Cracker Barrel is kind of a once a year thing for me if I'm visiting my parents (they love CB), but it's never been my favorite breakfast spot. This was the best service and experience I've ever had at a CB. We will request Anne for sure next time we come.

We arrived on Wed at 440. The restaurant was nearly empty except almost all tables had trash on them. The trash in photo has been at table at least one hour. To say service is slow is an understatement. It has now been over an hour since we have arrived. While most tables are dirty with few customers the hostess is on phone and 2 cashiers talking...... There hasn't been a customer for at least 10min to ring up. I understand lack of employees but perhaps multitasking could be taught. I may add at 440 we waited 5min to be sat in an almost empty restaurant. *update crackle barrel asked me to contact them with more information (within the week). They apologized and gave me a free dessert for one. Don't think it's worth going through this again to redeem but wanted to acknowledge the response.

Very disappointed experience. I went here just for the turkeys dinner and got turkey that was so dry that my fork could not even pick it up . What I am upset about is that they actually served this to me. A restaurant would actually bring turkey Brest that’s is brown ? Wow !!!!You can see how bad it look and still brought it to me like gravy would cover up dried out turkey. Severe did apologize and tell me she would have the manager take it off ,but I am confused cause I still want my food so I just sat watched my party eat. What is sad no visit from the manager to fix the problem!!!! And never took it off my tab !!!

We were seated easily by getting on the waiting list ahead of time. Our waitress Hilda was cordial. However, my meal and appetite were ruined. My apples were just plopped in the dish. I couldn't seem to get acceptable over medium eggs. The first set came broken apart, with broken yolks smeared on the plate (in the 1st photo - I hadn't touched anything on my plate...it came like that). I asked for a new order. They came back over easy, still with runny whites. I sent them back. ..I suspect they were microwaved then (photo 2). My father had to wait for almost 10 minutes for syrup. Cold pancakes or used looking eggs anyone? 😩

Meh. Food was mediocre. I usually love Cracker Barrel. I have fond memories, but this experience was sub par. The person at the front didn't greet us and barely spoke. Our server was fantastic. She was kind and pleasant and even offered to let my four year old use her pen cause they were out of crayons - and yes, Dad fail here as I should have brought something in with me and not relied on the restaurant. The food was okay. It felt very cafeteria instead of home town cooking. I had the roast beef, broccoli, and the loaded hash brown casserole (I think that's what it's called). The broccoli was good. My daughter enjoyed her kid mac and cheese. Overall, I'd say it was a lackluster performance by them.

This place has gone downhill in the quality of food and the staff are a complete joke. On 3/28/22 I placed a curbside pick-up order to be ready at 6:13pm. I pulled up in spot #4 at 6:18pm with two other cars ahead of me. I watched one of your employees bring out the order to first car, look directly at my car and the other one ahead of me and go back inside. I sat there until 6:37pm and finally got fed up. I walk inside to the first register and see my order sitting there on the shelf with another order that probably belonged to the car sitting next to me. That same employee was standing at the register doing absolutely nothing. She is a young lady with black and blue braids and wears glasses. I told her I had been waiting for over 20 minutes for my order. She had an attitude and asked for my name then handed me my bag stating "oh, sorry". It was a cold and windy day and seeing how she walked slower than a tortoise, I knew she wasn't going to bring the food out. I have never waited that long for food from here nor have I ever been greeted with attitude like this young lady. Needless to say, because it was a cold day, I was ready to tip the person doing curbside orders $10 but of course your nasty associate missed out. It was not crowded at all during this time. I ordered chicken and dumplings and I could definitely score it at a C- Sadly, the best thing I had out of my meal was carrots. My food was cold by the time I got it home. There were huge chunks of chicken at the bottom of the plate, the dumplings lacked broth, and the broccoli taste like acid. You guys have a hiring sign out front and I hope you do way better than the young lady I encountered. I have always loved Cracker Barrel, but this was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't tell anyone to go there at this point. Whoever the manager is at this place please get your staff in order. I will not be coming back.
