I am a big fan of the food of Flying Fish. The veg tastes fresh, the cooking is excellent, and the flavour balanced. Their Chinese takeaway style chips are also good.
I am blown away by the high quality of the service. My requests for no mushrooms have been honoured, which I have had hit and miss luck with at other restaurants. When I ordered last night I forgot to mention no mushrooms. My meal still came mushroom free, as not only had my name been remembered, so too my dietary preference. Blown away.

Very nice fish and chips from here. Both were freshly cooked to order and the best I have found in Fleet. Perfectly cooked tender white fish in a light, crisp batter and really nice crisp, thick cut chips. Both were excellent in both texture and flavour, and not excessively greasy.
Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.80 which is on the pricey side but the portions are large and the quality is top notch. The food was served in paper wrapping and a paper bag so it arrived home hot and not at all soggy. Highly recommended, I’ll be eating from here again.

Best fish and chips ever
Fabulous fresh cooked fish and chips. Generous portions. Super fresh. Amazing. Staff are really efficient as it gets busy and they are never too busy to be polite and friendly. It's worth a drive over even if you're not local.
