First Watch

Our Server Ms. KIERRA was awesome. She was attentive and very helpful. This was our first time at this First Watch. The layout of the restaurant nice and roomy.. PARKING WAS EFFORTLESS. that's always important when dining. The food was good as usual. The salad was fresh and herty. The broccoli cheese soup was savory. The club sandwich was delicious.

An industry trainer in (Houston TX) town told me not to miss First Watch. From entering the location (awesome staff!) through every last bite of the fare, I was treated to a bonanza of mouthwatering delights—and i only got to two delicious selections. The chikichanga comes with small fruit, some Vera Cruz cream-style sauce which strikes citrus notes (yum!), and sour cream. It is pure delight! The $1,000,000 bacon is like catnip for bacon lovers! My enjoyment just tripled upon discovering that they have locations local to the Delmarva region. I hit the Houston location up for an encore in day two and it was again thoughtfully prepared—a filling and enjoyable breakfast by all accounts.

We’re kind of sad about our experience this morning. We came to the area to shop and eat we were in great spirits but our experience today left us feeling pretty low about our treatment. One of my eggs for my eggs Benedict was hard boiled (photo attached) we weren’t mad, we weren’t upset. We were waiting for our waitress, who’s name started with a J but that I don’t care to publicly out, to come check on us so I could simply ask for a poached egg on the side and another mimosa. 15 minutes later she comes to us with the check, says no rush, and walks away before I even get the chance to get my order corrected and actually spend MORE money on an extra drink- we never asked for our check. She didn’t come back out of the kitchen for me to wave her down and ask for a simple correction that I again, was not upset about at all. I’m not a Karen I’m not going to berate people I know it was busy this morning but still- I ended up eating the rest of my food minus my second egg and we got up to just leave, I was pretty sad at this point cause I didn’t understand. As soon as we reached the line she came and got our plates and cleaned up our table, meaning she was watching for when we left.
