Had a lovely lunch yesterday whilst visiting Chester. A very pretty location, very nice and friendly staff. Seating outside as well as in. We sat outside looking on to the Cathedral. Perfect! Lots of lovely teas to choose from too. A big thumbs up from us. Thanks.

Lovely spot by Chester cathedral grounds and perfect for outdoor eating on a sunny day like today, but inside is very nice too. Food and drink is great with lots of veggie options and wide range of teas. Will definitely be coming back and it is highly recommended.

Delightful place with a huge variety of teas and coffees and excellent cakes. We went for tea, but the lunch menu looked very tempting. Friendly service and superb loos too - all that and a wonderful location close to the cathedral.

Had chilly chicken salad without bacon. Was really tasty. Liked the background music and the books everywhere. Nice decorated. Friendly staff. There where nice cakes displayed looked delicious. Made me feel home.

A great impromptu lunch stop. Vast range of teas, and cakes but notwithstanding the salad and potato options. Genuine Welsh Rarebit too. Very polite prompt service by gentlemen waiters.

Was given a gift voucher as a Xmas present for Beatons and we 'cashed' it in today. Lovely lunch, very attentive staff, very nice setting. Had never been before but had probably passed it many times. Will certainly visit again! Thank you.

Wonderful service and great sandwiches and tea. Went straight after my graduation in my robes and the whole family loved it. Highly recommend if you need a lunch spot in the heart of Chester. Represents the city perfectly.

Very nice cafe right off the wall but away from the main shopping areas. The service here is fantastic and the food, drinks and cakes are superb! It's a quiet cafe with an emphasis on reading so best to avoid if you're looking for somewhere that's lively. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet hide away to relax and enjoy lunch or afternoon tea.
