Waffle House

Not sure if the waitress is having a bad day or just get pleasant charm but I won't be back. Even cleaning tables she is going as slow as possible. We finally say down and she didn't even fully clean the table. Haven't even seen our food yet so can't comment on that. Gotta say having the same lady cleaning tables, sweeping up what she dropped on the floor then getting our drinks and I am sure our food without washing hands isn't looking good so far.

I didn't want to eat here but the person I was with insisted on it. They were in the middle of doing deep cleaning top to bottom. They should have closed down. Cleaning the floor and the water mist in the air. Waffle house is small so this can't be healthy or sanitary. I didn't like the way the young cook handled the food. This was the worst I've seen in my visits to here. I do not want to visit this one again.

This location was a big disappointment on the two occasions that I visited. Two different trips to Canton and two different times of the day. The first visit was after the breakfast rush but before lunch. 10:30 am. Although the 2 staff members were polite, the restaurant was nowhere close to clean. I should not have to ask for a wet towel to wipe down my own table and seat. Besides taking our order and bringing the bill, the only interaction was between the two employees. The coffee was old and tasted so. The confusing part to me was we were the only table seated the entire time we were there; nothing was being cleaned and I did not dare go the restroom. The second visit started out very similarly, only this time when I asked for a towel to wipe down the stickiness from the table from the previous patrons, I was directed to sit in the "clean" section of the dining area. Same problem sticky table. The server was eating, served me old coffee again, and the only interest in conversation she or the cook were interested in was about the third employee that was on the clock but not there at the time. He showed up shortly after a few drop-in customers who seemed to quickly pick-up call-in orders. No phone rang nor did the cash register before they left. The server continues to eat her breakfast managing to get lots of it on her shirt. When my bill came, I smiled nicely, asked a little about the town of Canton and was told it is not a place to do anything in. Tipped 20.00 on a 6.24 bill and informed the server to divide it however she saw fit. I will never return to this location, unfortunately I am not interested in striking out at a chain I really do enjoy. I rarely leave negative reviews but this one needed to be mentioned.

Terrible experience!! The girl who took our order last night didn't tell the cook until 20 minutes after we ordered. We came in with 3 people, (there was no one else there) they got their food right away, then two men drove up ordered and received their food long before us. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the place by the time she told the cook. Not sure what's difficult about bacon, toast and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich but the little girl actually huffed at me 😑
