Tiki Palace

Definitely the worst experience I have had at a restaurant. The waiter we had barely spoke and when he did he was very rude. When we called him over one time he looked at us and walked away. Then when asking if we could substitute for something else in the combination plate he told us no and basically screamed in my face. Also, after talking to the manager and everyone else receiving their food, I did not receive mine. At the end of out meal the manager told us she would take 50% off of our bill. We took that as a win, finished up, and then got the bill and when we received it...she didn't really take the 50% off. She wrote a bunch of numbers down which meant nothing. Severely disappointed considering we drove in snow storm with the roads being in horrible condition. You would think they would provide as good of customer service as possible, especially considering we were the only people in the dining area besides a couple who left shortly after we were seated. All in all, if you plan on going to Tiki Palace anytime soon...don't.

Just ordered food from there last night, tipped the driver $4 cash. Wrote on the credit card slip $18.76 as the total and in the tip line I wrote CASH. And sure enough I check my statement this morning and he added himself an extra $2 on top of the $4 I gave him! I know it’s only $2 but it’s still fraud and how many other people has he done this to? And considering I live within a mile of the place a $4 tip is pretty damn good.

Updated 1/3/18 I went back a few days ago and it seems there's new owners. They are friendlier but the food is only so-so. The General Gau's chicken taste the same but not the Crab Rangoon. Everything was cooked well enough which wasn't always the case in the past. I hope they make the needed changes. 12/27/17- original review I have been going here for as long as I can remember and I have grown to love the taste of the food from here especially the General Gau's chicken and the crab Rangoon when you get it on a good day but the last few years about 50% of the time I get take out from here it been pretty bad because it can be over cooked and dried out or just tastes like it was from the day before. The staff has always been on the rude side but I have hung out at the place long enough to laugh it off when the food is good because you don't mind so much when you get a good meal but when you get them on a bad day when they have an attitude and the food stinks it's make me swear the place off until I try other options in the area most of which are not good so I end up back at the Palace. I hope they read some of the feed back take it to heart and learn from it but I have a feeling they won't.
