Visited Gail's for the very first time few Sundays ago. Even though place was packed I really enjoyed the whole experience! Barista at the till (Anna) was very cheerful and full of knowledge. As I'm a person with lactose intolerance she offered me a chocolate and hazelnut bun (which I actually checked on website before going there if there's anything I could have with my coffee) which was absolutely delicious! A solid 5 stars for this place for service and great selection of food!

This has to be the weirdest Gail’s out there. Upon entering, one feels as if trespassing into the Land of Giants - the door is heavy, wooden and massive, probably 5m tall. The ceiling inside is very tall as well, and at the far end of the café (I mean it) there are 6 or 7 huge ‘steps’, perhaps to be used as additional seating. The standard seating is strange as well. Whatever expectations you have for the chain’s interior design, throw them in the bin. Here you’ll find bizarre lime green chairs, as if stolen from a kindergarten, as well as matching tables. Aside from the interior, the food and coffee on offer are just as great as in any other Gail’s, as are the extremely cheap prices everyone knows about ...

Classic Gail’s…with a GARGANTUANLY impressive front door! The cinnamon bun was as squidgy and cinnamony and I’ve ever had. Staff member who served us was friendly enough. Colour scheme seems like a mistake and the acoustics don’t lend themselves to screaming children. You have been warned! Hence, 4* rather than 5.
