Fish & Chips were tasty, slightly pricey but taking into account tourist season and this incredible view, I guess it was reasonable?? £9.50 for one piece of fish not including chips… visited a few other places in town, w equally yummy fish & chips that cost less. But again, this view!!! No real complaints! 🤣 …
Was attracted by the crowd waiting outside this quiet corner shop and decided to join the queue. So glad that I did. The menu is simple but everything I tried were nice. The fish, chips, mushy peas... If you ever visit Aberystwyth, try this fish and chips place. I heard it's one of the oldest shop here.
A real authentic chippy on the seafront! The option to get mini cod and chips was very welcome as I rarely manage a full fish and chips. It's not flashy inside, but it's a classic chippy with friendly and fairly quick service. Once you've got your food, you only have to cross the road and you're by the sea :)
What a disappointment. There were black bits all over the chips, which means the fat should have been changed a while ago. Soggy chips.
Enjoyed the fish and fish eggs. My friend believe d that she got sick because of the reused oil here, as she is very sensitive to fried food. I enjoyed it without problem, the scenery is great just in front of the water. The only downside is that they accept cards only with more than 10 pounds of purchase.
Annoying that they are cash only. I’m not against people taking cash and will try and buy with cash whenever I can but offer card payment too! Chips were sharp edged and cooked to the point that the insides had completely disappeared. …
