Panera Bread

Online ordering was down so I went to the actual restaurant to order food for our company. The ordering process went extremely smooth. The cashier, Sharon, was extremely nice and listened to everything that I ordered! I expected 10+ items to take half an hour to be prepared, but everything was done in less than 5 minutes. I had a really great experience, and it was during a lunch rush!

I am so disappointed this evening. The Dirksen Parkway Panera is one of our favorite go to places for good food and consistently great service. Tonight was none of those things. The chicken noodle soup clearly had no noodles. It consisted of carrots and broth. The 1/2 Asian salad was less than half in the container it was provided in. I know things are different but it needs to get better. I have a couple friends who joined me last week for a luncheon get together and they said their chicken noodle soup had nothing in it either. I really wanted the chicken and rice but you were out. My friends and I were getting together again next Tuesday but they asked if we could change the place. I’m assuming because they felt they were not getting their moneys worth. Please do better. I would miss not coming there.

The current General Manager at this location helped me with my issue very promptly. I also witnessed him handle another customer very professionally even though she was at fault and causing the GM to remake her order. He handled her situation perfectly. I will definitely be coming to this location more often.
