Kfc

The food is usually pretty good but almost everything else usually isn't. The front of the building has about a dozen signs claiming that you can pick up mobile orders in the lobby. The door is also covered in signs saying that the doors are unlocked for mobile orders. The doors are Not unlocked. Ever. I wish the management would take 5 minutes to take down all of those signs since they clearly don't have enough staff to keep up with the demand. They are perpetually understaffed, I assume because KFC isn't willing to pay reasonable wages to get a full staff. Or even half a staff. Because of that, the few who are working are exhausted and annoyed by the workload. This also causes the drive-thru to take an excruciating amount of time most days. If this was the only KFC I had ever been to, I probably wouldn't come back very often.

I had the light meal with Korean sweet and spicy wings. The sauce is so addicting and the wings were perfectly cooked and bigger then most I've had It came with fried potatoes (Jojo's), crispy outside and pillowy soft inside, also included were two crispy dumplings and a drink for less than $8. My daughter had the fried chicken with the honey sauce. There were 5 large pieces which she said were delicious. I can't wait to go back and try the bulgogi and the fried K roll.

It's been a few years since my wife and I have had KFC. It's not the flavor it once was. It's turned as close to flavorless as you could get without calling it something else. I'm sure corporate changes are to blame and not the restaurant. Service provided was good and friendly. Not a "sit down" restaurant but a "drive thru/curb side pick up" place now. I'm sure it's due to the lack of the employee pool that's hit every industry.

COVID KILLED THE BUFFET!!!! NONE of the Springfield Stores have Buffet any longer. Which is sad, occassionally, my daughters and I, would have a guilty pleasure to go and NOM NOM the Buffet. We are huge Fried Chicken lovers and 1-2 times a year, we would really like to enjoy a pigout on buffet, not anymore. I am one of those that will buy the chicken only and go home and make sides. So far I have been back to this store in the past year 4 or 5 times and every single time they have NOT had any chicken only specials. One of the popular specials I remember was a dark meat 8 for $8.00/12 for $12.00/etc. haven't seen that since before moving back to the area. This is KFC so the food is KFC Standard, just the chain seems to have gone down hill over the years.

The rudest staff i have ever exspiranced at a kfc. I used to love eating at kfc because the chiken was great but the staff always made me feel welcome. I was so disapointed. That the manager was the worst offender of them all. Not worth my time anymore. If this is the direction of kfc no wonder the company is having financh issues
