The quintessential neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee is good, the people are great, and even when the line gets long to order, once you've ordered the service is uncannily fast.

"First time at Light House Roasters coffee shop in Seattle, and I'm hooked! ☕✨ An absolute must-visit for anyone in town. The perfect blend of charm, intimacy, and exceptional service. Highly recommend! #SeattleCoffeeDiscovery #HiddenGems" Chris is the best, thank you for the extra cup of coffee ☕️!

This is my new favorite place by a landslide! Its all I can think about if I'm within a 5mi radius. The coffee is phenomenal & the vibes are great. I don't know enough about coffee to pinpoint what makes it different/better than others, but my tastebuds know & that's all that matters! (Maybe something to do with roasting their own beans?) I would strongly suggest you give this place a try if you're in the area. The line might appear long at peak times but there is a reason for that & they keep it moving very efficiently. Thank you Lighthouse for your consistency!

Visit the store. Very nice staff. Had a great chat with the master roaster, watched him going the steps and finessed the green beans from Sumatra into that well-swelled chocolate-colored beans. All analog process with decades of experiences behind! Did I mention that they use quality beans to begin with, Ethiopia, Sumatra, etc. As a home coffee roaster, it is very hard to have a great cup outside your own kitchen (don't really want to buy coffee-flavored milk or scorching hot flavored water). But will definitely go back to Lighthouse whenever in the neighborhood! Just one bus ride from UW on 44 line.

We came here for the first time. We were craving for high quality coffee in the neighborhood. We found this coffee shop had 4.8 stars. We went for it! Excellent choice!!! We came here at the end of the day. It was not as busy as the day time. We ordered an iced latte. Yum!! The latte or coffee flavour tasted very smooth and filled with texture and richness even though it had milk in it. I personally loved it so much. We sat inside and enjoyed the coffee. We saw the coffee shop here also roasts their coffee beans. We saw those coffee ma Chinese, equipment and accessories. It is great that the business owner can both sell coffee beverages and roast their own coffee beans. I would highly recommend this coffee shop even though the name is not as big as Starbucks or other popular ones. The business owner puts effort to make and sell coffee/coffees to the coffee customers.

We bought their Kenya Ethiopia and Regular beans for home and family and are very happy with the smoothness and freshness of this coffee. I also had their mocha and wife had Americano and we both enjoyed the coffee. The grinding machines in the back can be seen and create a unique experience for the visitor.

Best coffee + espresso in Seattle, and, therefore, perhaps the best coffee anywhere. This spot is a step back in time - in the best way possible. A community spot where you run into friends and neighbors.

I'm not proud of my coffee addiction, but I'm proud of my dealer. Lighthouse has the dankest dark roasts and consistent espresso pulls, the cutest dogs, reliably interesting music, high-quality sugar snacks when just one drug isn't enough, chill patio seating that's great for ukulele improvisations in fair weather, and all my/your coolest neighbors. This place is a pillar of the Upper Fremont community.
