Del Taco

So first I want to start this review by saying ALAN IS GREAT! Tall white guy in the morning. He is SUPER NICE! I bought a sprite pear popper and loved it. I went back there later in the site when the "Assistant Manager" was working. She is a short Mexican lady. I asked for the same drink I bought earlier in the day. She said that they weren't selling them yet. LOL I had bought one earlier that same day! Then I told her that, and she called my wife and I a LIAR!! Are you kidding? Why would we lie about buying a drink? That was ridiculous. ALAN should be assistant manager instead of her. #TEAM ALAN!!!!

This was a very disappointing visit. Ordered a small and medium fry and the fries were overly greasy which was odd since that is not the norm for Del Taco. They usually have the best fries. I ordered a Del Burger. It was ok. I also ordered a snack size chocolate shake and there was so little chocolate that it actually looked like and tasted like vanilla. The two snack tacos that were ordered were ok, but a little lacking on the meet though there was a good amount of cheese. Biggest issue was that my niece ordered a carne asada taco and we didn't realize until we were a good bit away from the location that they had given her something that looked like a quesadilla but had about four little pieces of meat and some salsa or something on it. Problem is she can't have gluten so she was unable to eat it. Also, the girl working the window seemed confused and struggling a bit. She may have been new. The other thing that I found sooooo annoying, and a lot of places are pulling this, is, "oh I don't have all your change, is that ok". My opinion is that if the place can't give you your full change then give you the overage. In this case it was three cents, but give a nickel back in the change rather than have the customers take the loss. If you look at all the places doing this, they are making 1000's and thousands of dollars penny by penny. Just my personal rant. Lol

It was awesome. Even during the late lunch rush, I still received excellent customer service. I redeemed a coupon and the lady behind the register was just so sweet, and nice. She had all smiles! Which made me smile! And the taco dude, how did you know? The tacos were perfect! With just the right amount of cheese! I love you taco dude! .......In a, Del Taco employee, knowing the correct amount of cheese I like, kinda way.... 😀👍👍👏👌👌😆 I like the new logo, design and red bold color, but I have to keep it 💯 The old design was nice. I liked it a lot. The cup - there just isn't any pop. It looks like every other boring cup out there with a splash of red at the bottom. Can't even read the name of the establishment. Too small. 😐😒😔
