Waffle House

Extremely disappointing.. Walked in around 1120pm & they only had 3 tables they were using, which were all being used, so we were told we'd have to wait for a table. There were only 2 of us, & we would have been fine sitting at the bar, but it was blocked off with more than half of the rest of the restaurant. 2 guys had just walked in before us & sat at the last available table. This was a Sunday night so the towns options were very limited on what was available to choose from at almost midnight which is why we thought Waffle House was our best bet- we were wrong to assume the 24 hour restaurant would be able to serve us when there were only 7 other customers in there already. Highly dissatisfied.

We don't have Waffle House restaurants in Wisconsin, so whenever I travel and spend the night near one I gotta stop for breakfast steak and eggs over easy with hash browns topped with tobasco . Service was great, and as always so was the food. Place was really busy when I stopped, but was lucky to find a seat as many people were waiting for a seat to eat shortly after I arrived.

Great little simple breakfast place. We loved how fast we were serviced, the food was yummy, portion size was perfect (since we are passing through and driving a lot). Great bang for the buck. They have shower curtains between booths for that scenes of security. Super friendly staff. They played fun upbeat music and one of the cooks was able to sing along and it brought pure happiness to my entire family and other guests. Stop here and tip well <3

This was the greatest meal I have ever had. In my entire experience on this planet nothing so beautiful has occured. I ordered the all star meal and simply put it was like entire cosmos in every single bite. The waffle was soft and rich with flavour. The combination with the butter that was smooth as can be and the syrup that wasnt too sweet but the perfect sweetness. Every bite of that waffle took me back to a world of happiness. Then the eggs. So soft and just requiring a little bit of salt and pepper to make the whole world dance. So beautifully made. The hashbrowns were so crispy and the perfect temperature and taste. The sausages were perfectly cooked and tasted like heaven. The bread was toasted at the right level and was a dream with the butter and jam. The waiting staff and cooks were absolutely delightful, having constructive discourse over mistakes made with apologies made when needed. They were there to provide us with syrup and hot sauce whenever we asked despite it being almost the end of their shift when we came. Ive never felt so alive. I've forgiven every issue of my past and I have let go of the problems I hold. I have faith in this world again.

Some of these reviews are so funny. Personally I think the food is good, a little greasy but meh, we come to WaffleHouse for hangover food and regrets lmao. To all of those upset about the closure of sections and having to wait for a seat, they are severely understaffed, they can only have one section opened per server. They don’t make the rules, grow up and either wait or go somewhere else!
