Bandana's Bbq - Rolla

We stayed at the hotel next door and though we were advised to go to a different BBQ place that might have been better but we took a chance and was happy. It wasn't that bad, it wasn't super smokey or bursting with flavor but the turkey and pork were noisy, brisket was a little dry. The other sides were yummy. Make sure to ask for plasticwear if taking out. We ate in our room since we were pooped from all the driving. Our order was not correct but we noticed as we walked out the door and they corrected quickly. We tried to order online through a third party site and it wasn't allowing us to add a bowl of mac cheese so we were required to call to place order. Not bad for a chain restaurant

First time to try this place and was very impressed. The service was great and so was the food. The cole slaw had a nice flavor without too much sauce. The pork was tender and tasty, the beef was too. I thought 5 sauces was a bit too much, typically it's a situation where only 1 or 2 are good and the others are throw aways but all 5 were very very good. I'm usually not a fan at all of mustard based BBQ sauces but even this one was great. I'll be back for sure.

Not impressed. 20 bucks for chicken and smoked sausage. Chicken was tender but dry. Sausage was also dry with a tough casing. Garlic bread was tasty but you put enough fake butter (or cheap) and you can make anything taste good. Green beans had a strong flavor that didn’t appeal to me. To each his own. BBQ bean okay. Not great. Service was the star.
