Great service! The server was super attentive and kind. The sushi was great! The fish was very fresh and the rolls were well made. We got bento boxes, and there were plenty of great selections for good prices! The takoyaki was pretty good as well.

In an area full of overpriced restaurants I found Mio Sushi and couldn't believe the prices. With trepidation my wife and I decided to try out this much more reasonably priced sushi spot before a concert at the Crystal Ballroom. I'm glad we did! We started with the Agedashi Tofu and Miso Soup. Both were fantastic and the tofu was perfectly crispy. The tofu comes separate from the Agedashi sauce so it stayed nice and crispy to the last bite. My wife always wonders why more places don't do this and was super excited when they served the dish and she saw it was. My wife has a small stomach so she also had the Pork Gyozas. Well fried, thin wonton and a well seasoned filling. The sauce is the same sauce that comes with the Agedashi Tofu. Wasn't bad, but seemed odd to have the same sauce for both. Also, the sauce is cold. The items dipped in it are warm enough that it isn't a cold bite, but again a bit odd. I had the Portland Roll and a Sake (salmon) Nigiri. The salmon was beautiful!! Perfectly sliced, very sweet and flavorful. The Portland Roll was salmon, REAL crab, cucumber, green onion and sesame seed. I always avoid Krab with a K but since it was real crab I gave it a whirl. Woah. Um, where has this roll been all my life?! The only thing I wished for was avocado, otherwise wow. Real crab and salmon are best friends, I promise. The people behind the sushi bar are super friendly and the wonderful little old lady who ran the front of the house was great.

The bento was a generous serving of food. Spicy salmon was good, not TOO spicy. The teriyaki chicken was also great. I usually love salads, but this dressing was very gingery- more than my liking. Atmosphere is lacking, but food is good, staff were kind. Not many dine-in customers, but they had tons of to-go orders being picked up!

Absolutely wonderful sushi!! We got four rolls and three nigiri. The rolls had a perfect balance between the sushi and the added flavors. Our two favorite rolls were the Bible Bubble roll and the Caribbean Mango roll. The nigiri was yellow tail belly, salmon, and salmon belly. The salmon was top quality and the fatty tuna and salmon belly melted in your mouth. We will definitely be going back for more. If you love sushi you have to try Mio Sushi Pearl
