Not been here for years, thought I'd give it a try. Verdict, very nice, food hot, reasonable prices too. Will be back soon. Nice to have a traditional fish and chip shop locally. Average score for atmosphere only given as it looks like they refurbing the shop

Really impressed with this chippy, one of the best I have been to. I preordered online and it was there waiting for
me when I arrived despite me being a couple of minutes early. Every item we ordered was spot on, and one of the nicest curry sauces I have had. We will return if we are in the area again

Their Cod and Chips are genuinely the best in the area. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and the business itself has been handed down over 4 generations since the 1940's! It might not look flashy from the outside but the proof is in the pudding as they say! Best place in town! Sadly the restaurant area inside has had to close following COVID, but the counter and ordering is alive and well!

First time visiting this fish and chip shop, ordered 5 cod and chips, all cooked fresh, beautiful fish and plenty of chips... the food was still very hot when we served it up at home. Will certainly be returning.

Made a large order today using your click and collect service which was running perfectly to time and the whole order was correct and delicious! The onion rings in particular were lush! Chips portions very generous and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend the panko breadcrumbs on the fish too! Thank you for a lovely lunch! 😍

I think I shocked staff by calling to praise our fish and chip supper! Fantastic service ( ordered on line and ready in 15 mins for collection) . Beautifully fresh and perfectly cooked, I'm glad I didn't cook tea tonight!
