As busy as they were, service at the cheese counter could not have been better and checking out was breeze. Well-run shop and happy employees. It shows. Will be back.

I go here weekly and have never experienced anything other than perfection. I’m not exaggerating when I say it seems like literally every single item that’s sold in this store is thought out, highly scrutinized, and the best of the best. The pre-packaged meals are perfect for anyone with a busy lifestyle who wants to still eat well. I’ve heard some complaints that the prices are too high, however, the quality of the product far outweighs the cost in our opinion. They’ve created a food buying experience here that just feels good to be in there.

There's no place to stand and it's always a little dark in there. Gives the cheese cave in the back ambience. Go when it's less busy, meaning not a weekend or lunch rush, talk to a cheese monger, try cheese, try a little more. Buy something you didn't know existed before today. It's a little more retail than 9th Street, but has the better cheese IMO.

This review is more for Alimentari. We didn’t really get to shop, but it was a nice market with a good selection. The restaurant upstairs served amazing appetizers (still thinking about the artisanal pigs in a blanket haha), and the service was excellent. I was underwhelmed by the actual dinner. Salad and dessert were very good, but the pasta really didn’t need to be spicy and the chicken parm had hardly any cheese on it. The fish dish was good. Overall, I’d recommend hosting an event there, and if I find myself back in Philly, I’ll definitely pop by the market.

Was happy to have found this gourmet store near my hotel. The food options vary: meat, cheese, soup, drinks. They have grab and go packed food as well, and I got the hard boiled egg snack box which was good.

This location is a full gourmet grocery with produce, dairy, bakery and deli options available. They also offer delicious prepared foods. You can get a meal heated up and eat it at the tables outside. There is also a full service lunch counter but it was closed when we were there. They have a wide selection of incredible cheeses. The cheese monger will help with selections and offers tastes of the various cheeses before deciding which to buy.

We were blown away by the sheer size and assortment of meats, cheeses, meals, desserts, alcohol. At first we imagined it was a butcher shop because we saw extensive variety of cuts (steak, salmon, seafood). We traverse towards a portal which transcends to a high end, small market grocery store. This is the place to go if you want to have any type of charcuterie extravaganza. Artisan snacks and delectables everywhere. They allow you to sample some of the foods also. The cherry on top is they sale wholesale meals. The prices can tip the scales, but you get what you pay for, and in this case -- pure unadulterated quality.

Excellent variety and quality of specialty foods that are great for fancy gifts or to spoil yourself. Cheeses from around the world, delectable cured meats, a variety of sweet and savory spreads, tasty-looking fresh prepared foods, and pastries from the absolute best Italian bakery in town — Isgro. On top of all that they have wonderful customer service. Kevin went out of his way to make my experience putting together a beautiful gift basket for a client a great experience. 10/10 will shop here again!

Stopped in to grab a gift and quickly fell in love with this market. For a small market it carries quite a bit and I was impressed with the selection of fresh meats and fish as well as the cheeses and other delectables. The prices were reasonable and I've never seen a market this pristine in my life. The staff at the cheese counter were extremely helpful and knowledgeable and am looking forward to visiting Philadelphia again to stock up!
