The Bite

I believe most of the reviews for this restaurant are bogus. I suspect one of the many competitors - of which Parra has lots. I have eaten here so many times I can't count. I have never had bad food. I have never been sick from what I've eaten. Pizza & pasta are great but not as good as the early (pre-fire) days. Service is typical for Sydney - not very warm - but adequate. I have asked for quick service many times when seeing shows at Riverside Theater and the service has always risen to the occasion. Don't believe the gripe - check it out for yourself.

Guys, do not eat here! I ate here on Saturday night, and was food poisoned that night. I have only been able to keep food down today, Monday. I have never been food poisoned EVER, but this was something special. Threw up all night, hot cold sweats, and all Sunday was pretty much the same. I would highly recommend to NEVER GO HERE. I had prawns with my meal, that's what we reckon it was. Also, the recommended red wine by the waitress was disgusting. How does a place like this do business!

The service was slow, the food average at best, except the wedges, they were nice (but overpriced). The restaurant is FAR too expensive, especially for the service they offer. We were not given part of out order, then they tried to make us pay for it, they were rather manipulative. Would NEVER go there again.
