One of my favorite places to get coffee. You pay what you want, which is unheard of in a culture where everyone is trying to get ahead. The coffee is the best. The people are great. The owner, David, has such a good heart. Can get a bit crowded, but that’s because it’s such a great place.

This little coffee shop has all the good vibes! So cozy and so inviting. Amazing latte and cold water served from recycled wine bottles. And a great selection of vinyls on the turn table😁 Truly awesome place!!

Genuinely the best coffee shop I have ever been to. I make it a point to go to a coffee shop in every new city/town I visit. Nothing has come close to the sidetrack experience. The coffee itself is wonderful, the culture is unique, and I wish I could live in the building. So lucky to have spent my college years at Auburn & in this shop <3

What a breath of fresh air this place is.
The Good.
The staff is friendly and accommodating.
The coffee is maybe the best in town. It was sooo good.
Did I mention how good the coffee was?
Even though this is basically counter service, they brought our coffee to us in REAL cups and glasses. [You can get it to go]
They also brought water to our table as a courtesy
The atmosphere is really inviting.
Be Aware, they don't charge a certain amount, but allow you to pay what you think it's worth. It's not a big deal, but you ought to pay at least what other places charge, even if you can't get better coffee at those places.

Wonderful local coffee shop. Knowledgeable baristas, friendly and chill vibe and always good vinyl playing. Everyone here is excellent: David, Austin, Paulina, and Hannah are just the best. Never had a bad experience and I highly recommend.

This is a coffee shop with a vibe way cooler than I thought I would find in Opelika. The staff was super friendly, and caught me off guard when I was told I could pay whatever I wanted for my delicious latte. I will definitely be back to visit next time I'm around.

This is a great unique space with really good coffee. It's also a very unique business model where you get to pick what you want to pay. A must stop for coffee enthusiasts.

Side Track is one of my favorite places to get some great coffee and conversation. Everyone is very welcoming and the coffee is delicious.
They'll go out of their way to make your day better and treat you with a true sense of hospitality.
