Jim 'n Nick's Bar-b-q

Took a long time to get waited on (10 minutes) but we were hungry. It seems that we were seated in the "bar" area and the bartender was pulling double duty as our waiter. There were other seats available in the main dining area. Maybe the waitress (standing around talking) just didn't want to be bothered to serve customers? Maybe that's why we were seated in the bar area? Hmm? BBQ sandwiches were good. Cheesy muffins were great! Prices were too high for what we got, but it seems to be the new normal.

Laneko was 1 of the best servers I've had in a long time ,we came in from the rain wet and cold They don't serve coffee ,but she gave us her personal coffee with a cup of hot water cream and sugar. That's was one of the sweetest things any server has ever done since I've been dining out .Great person

Brisket Chili was the light lunch of the day. The brisket was plentiful and the overall flavor was very good. Would have loved it to be a bit spicier but know many people can't handle spice. Server was friendly and she made sure we have beverage refills even before the drinks were empty. Other items at the table were also delicious. Worth a visit when in the area.

First time eating here from out of town. Started off with delicious cheesy biscuits that I could eat myself sick on. Had some mediocre deviled eggs, but a solid bloody mary. Got the choose 3 meats combo...Skip the pulled pork it was so bland and watery. Get right to the brisket and spare ribs. The bark was amazing on them, and you could taste the love. Sides we chose were beans, mac and cheese, potato salad, and slaw. All just decent nothing to write home about. Definitely would eat here again, but getting all ribs instead!
