Stopped by while on jury duty on 12/11 the nice lady working allowed me to sit down and eat my to go order while the man behind the bar asked me to move out of the booth and to a table which I didn’t mind, but sat here for 20 minutes and there was only one other table in the restaurant occupied and obviously nobody waiting on that table. The server apologized for him, but I still don’t get it. She was so sweet and the food was delicious

Service was great. I forgot the guy's name but he was attentive, talkative, entertaining and happily answered any questions we had. The only negative was a live "band" came in and they were not good. Could barely understand what they were saying and they didn't sound good. Other than that, it was very enjoyable visit.

Stopped in Memphis while traveling and looked for “good food” suggestions on Google and ate an early supper. The suggestion was right! Westy’s has a cool, funky atmosphere and the food was great! We had the blackened catfish dinner and their red beans and rice - both were wonderful. We didn’t leave without trying their hot fudge brownie pie ala mode - amazing! Don’t pass this one by!

Ms. Barbara was amazing and took great care of me and offered some great recommendations. This was my first time in Dallas and she recommended the tamales and Catfish. I am telling you right now! The catfish is so good you need to try it at least once. And even got to try their ice cream and brownie desert. Thank you so much for the service and food I will be back 😊💛.

Would highly recommend! Westy's had some really good food. Tried the fried corn off the cob, fried green tomatoes, and the cat fish basket. Before I get more into the food let me say this: the building is an older building and could use some TLC and that combined with the weird odor experienced was why I marked down a star on atmosphere. Also a note about the service. Looked like they had very few employees which meant service was a little slow. However, overall it was great! The portions were good portions and the fried foods were very crispy. The breading on the catfish critters was flavorful and amazing and was the same batter used for the hush puppies. I will definitely be back!

My guy and I had an amazing time at Westy’s. Maggie was our bartender/server, she is spectacular. Maggie is knowledgeable of the menu, attentive of her guest and overall an outstanding woman of service. We ordered 2 shots of fireball with a Bud light bottle and white claw; along with the Catfish basket with seasoned fries and the 6piece whole wing basket (flavor buffalo lemon pepper with seasoned fries #delicious but has a nice kick). We highly recommend Westy’s. Did I mention they’re open late ? 😊!!!! #loveit
