One & Only Bbq - Kirby Pkwy

We had One & Only BBQ cater for a work lunch. The driver arrived on time with all the supplies, and the food was out of this world! We ordered pulled pork sandwiches, smoked chicken sandwiches, vegan burgers, bbq beans, and banana pudding. OH the banana pudding! It was enjoyed by all. Thanks One & Only!

50 years ago, I lived in Memphis for 8 years. This place serves the kind of smoked pork shoulder sandwiches I love and remember. This review is based on one sandwich on each of two consecutive days. Each was generously sized, with slaw. The sauces, "mild," "spicy," and "hot habanero," had essentially the same base flavor with varying degrees of spiciness. If your sauce is not as spicy as you like, ask for it at the counter. Sometimes the squeeze bottles on the tables have been filled with the mild sauce rather than what the label on the bottle says. The ambience was great. We ate on the sidewalk, and were joined unexpectedly by two acquaintances of my friend. An ebullient woman bellowed out a hoarse greeting and seated us. I enjoyed my meals. Also tasted: excellent smoked chicken "drumettes," and twice-baked potato salad, which I am pleased to report is not sweet. The second visit provoked me to upgrade by one full star.

Just had one of the best restaurant experiences in a LONG time. Im only here for a couple days, been here about an hour and already decided im going back tomorrow. The service is outstanding and to say the food is good is almost an insult. Everything was beyond expectations and I had high hopes to start with. I can't recommend it enough. We got a huge variety, pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket, ribs and more. Then the sausage that was recommended was not only great. But probably the best I've ever had. Everything was so good I can't say which was my favorite. And the people there are the nicest and sweetest. They're genuine and thats hard to come by in the service industry. 10 out of 10.

Came out from California for Graceland and some Memphis BBQ.  This place was recommended by our Uber driver. Jamie and Mike were so welcoming!  Jaime was super attentive. We tried a little bit of everything and were not disappointed.  Pulled pork and tri-tip sandwich, ribs, tri-tip, chicken, smoked wings, fried wings, mac'n'cheese, twice-baked potato salad, banana cream pie.  Their BBQ sauces are delicious, as was the BBQ (we especially liked the hot and habanero sauce flavors). Jaime even packed up a to-go of wings for my flight home!  Our experience at One & Only BBQ was awesome and we will go back if we are ever in Mephis again. Thank you, Jamie!
